Restoring Truth: Disclosure Guide Certification

This training provides professionals with the knowledge and tools to effectively facilitate a Full Disclosure after sexual betrayal. This course is created as a partner and betrayal trauma-sensitive approach. It will include a step-by-step guide for deciding if the disclosure is appropriate, preparing both the partner and the disclosure, facilitating the actual process, considerations to be made after completion of the disclosure, and business practice tools. For more information about requirements for the training or certification process please contact Jo Vanatta at info@kintsugirecoverypartners.com

Certified Clinical Disclosure Guide: Clinician Requirements

  • US – Licensed through a state board
  • Foreign Trained Professional – Must demonstrate their education, degree and experience.
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance or Professional Indemnity Insurance

Certified Disclosure Guide Coach: Coach Requirements

  • Must hold a Coaching Program Certification of at least 60 hours
  • Adhere to ICF Core Competencies
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance

OR

  • Must be a Board-Certified Coach with the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) 
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance

Restoring Truth Disclosure Advocate: Advocate Requirements

This track is for anyone currently providing support for those affected by sex addiction and/or partners affected by these issues.

  • This includes mentors, ministry professionals, certified group facilitators, or approved educational or training programs. (Preview is required)
  • Willing to adhere to KRP Model Core Competencies
  • Certificate of Professional Liability
  1. Complete Restoring Truth: Disclosure Guide Training.
  2. Email info@kintsugirecoverypartners.com and submit proof of liability insurance, state license or ICF coaching program certificate of certification.
  3. Receive notice you are cleared for mentorship.
  4. Complete a mentorship agreement.
  5. Actively participate in the preparation and/or facilitation of one Full Disclosure using KRP Model. Only disclosures occurring post training will qualify.
  6. Complete 12 hours of mentoring sessions for utilizing the KRP Full Disclosure process.

Candidates may not earn more than 6 hours without facilitating a full disclosure using the Kintsugi Recovery Partners Restoring Truth Disclosure Guide process.

  • Minimum of 4 Individual Hours – ‘Individual’ hours can include two candidates (dyad)
    • Minimum of 2 hours with Janice
    • Minimum of 2 hours with Dan
  • Minimum of 8 Group Mentoring Hours
    • Minimum of 4 hours with Janice
    • Minimum of 4 hours with Dan

  1. Demonstrate completion of 6 hours of continuing mentorship with an approved Restoring Truth Mentor. (Janice Caudill or Dan Drake)
  2. If a clinician provide a current copy of state license or if a coach proof of current ICF Membership
  3. Copy of current liability insurance policy

With extensive experience working with couples as they navigate the waters after intimate betrayal, Janice Caudill and Dan Drake draw on their expertise to create a comprehensive training program.

A Texas psychologist licensed through PSYPACT in most states. She is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor, a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Supervisor, a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist, a Sexual Recovery Therapist, an Intimacy Anorexia Therapist, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and EMDR, Brainspotting, and Deep Brain Reorienting trained.

A licensed therapist in Los Angeles, California. He is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor and a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Supervisor, and he is EMDR trained. He has received two master’s degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary in Marital and Family Therapy and in Theology.
